How the process works
Come in with your fabric or choose it in store. Measurements are taken properly, the design is agreed — neckline, sleeve, length, lining, finishing — and the yardage is checked against the design before anything is cut. A fit check before final finishing catches problems while they are still easy to fix.
Bring a reference photo of what you want. It is the single most useful thing you can do, because neckline names mean different things to different people.
Bringing your own fabric
Fabric brought back from India, gifted suit pieces, or lengths bought years ago and never used — all welcome. Bring the dupatta and any border or lace that came with it, even if you are not sure you want it used. Options are easier to discuss with everything on the table.
Timelines, honestly
Stitching takes as long as it takes, and wedding season compresses everything. Tell us the date you need it for at the start and you will get a straight answer about whether it is possible, rather than a promise that turns into a problem.
