Choose jewellery against the outfit, not from memory
Gold tone against a warm outfit, silver or oxidised against cooler palettes — but the reason to bring the outfit in (or a clear, well-lit photo of it) is that embroidery thread has a colour temperature of its own, and it is very easy to buy a set that looks perfect in isolation and slightly wrong against the actual fabric.
